The NBA basketball season doesn’t have an extremely long season like MLB baseball with an insane 162 game schedule or a very short season like NFL football with only 16, it sits pretty much in the middle with a nice 82 games.

Although I believe 82 games is still quite a bit, there are plenty of opportunities during the 82 games to perfect your craft for picking winners in NBA games. You will probably not get to sports betting guru status after one season, but you will definitely learn some things throughout the season.

With such high scoring affairs in the NBA the point spreads can be anywhere from one point to fifteen. That is a pretty big margin, but betting on the NBA is much easier than you think if you put in the time to do some research and watch some games.

Most people that bet on the NBA, MLB or NFL in this country don’t even bother to put in the effort to do research or make the right picks. Even though you might be a die hard Los Angeles Lakers fan or love watching LeBron James you never bet on you the teams or players you like to win because that will always end badly.
